The Best Downhill in Calderdale

The friday posse.

So how can you find the best downhill? The IFB's new Percy Robertshaw route includes the first 2 km of the downhill.

The legal stuff is always wet.

Is this the way to the valley floor?

It starts like this and then..............

after 3km of singletrack your in the woods.

maybe a bit more diggings required

So...the Best Downhill In Calderdale is a flight of steps?

They do look like steps. The steps of death maybe. You'll get your turn terra, next summer :~)

Is that Warren in the top photo? Warren? riding a bike?
it can't be. it is! is it?

Chicken Feet cleans the sting in the tall! PRD on the left.

yes its true, finally got my forehead out of the fishtank and got my ass on a bike but bottled the sting in the tail...

Looks like a top day out!
Nice one!

Martin, I had forgotten that you had taken those pictures. Great memories of a fantastic summer of mid week riding

Who's Percy Robertshaw?

What kind of cake is that?

Just a local chap who lived at slack. Also the father of Jessie Robertshaw. I could have called it the Hebden Bridge Loop :o(

who's Jessie Robertshaw?
Still waiting for an answer re. cake...

A factory girl from slack who's also got a route named after her. Just keeping it in the family. Coop flatjacks.

cake? nope, top co-op flap jack. enables t shirt wearing at 4c.

Andy the Ninja didn't have any then, given that he's sporting the "well prepared" look.
